YOUR ROLE

As Logistics Team Leader you are the center of our fulfillment operation. Together with your team you determine the success during the construction and expansion phase of our warehouse in Tilbrug!

 

In the role of Logistics Team Leader you will lead a sub-process within the operation. This means that you will work in the Inbound, Picking/Packing or Outbound department. A few months after the kick-off of the operation, your team consists of 50 to 100 operators and 2 to 4 team coordinators who specialize in the process. You enthuse and motivate your team to realize goals and you work constructively on the development of your people. Obviously, you are closely involved in the design and improvements of your sub-process and the performance of your team. In the position of Logistics Team Leader, you report to the Operations Manager.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Managing, coaching, developing and evaluating the employees in your team;
  • Leading the daily operations and responsible for achieving KPIs and plans;
  • In cooperation with your colleagues making the right decisions for an optimal overall process;
  • Optimizing the efficiency of people and resources;
  • Making improvement proposals regarding the logistics process;
  • Carrying out measurements, making reports and analyses;
  • Conducting performance and assessment interviews, absence counseling;
  • Ensuring a clean and safe working environment (lean / 5S).

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • You are a people manager by nature and have previously managed a team in a similar work environment;
  • HBO work and thinking level with at least a completed MBO 4 education;
  • You are ambitious, hard working and stress resistant;
  • You have at least 3 years of work experience in a dynamic work environment;
  • You are an inspiring leader with an ambitious, driven mindset;;
  • Fulltime available and flexible in a 2-shift system;
  • Good command of the English language orally and in writing.

 

WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?

  • A competitive salary for this job;
  • A contract for 12 months with an outlook to a permanent contract. If you already have a contract with CEVA, this will of course remain unchanged;
  • 25 holiday days and 4 extra days if you are not sick during the whole year;
  • Travel allowance for up to 50 km one way per day;
