Description

 

This role exists to support the Service Delivery Management team.

A SVD Representative will be responsible for the management and processing of; Redelivered export loaded containers to the US / CDA customers, US imported containers that are required to be Re-exported back to the foreign origin location, US origin exported containers that are required to be Returned from the foreign location back to the US customers and the application, removal or change of hazardous placards on containers imported to the US.

A successful Representative will ensure requests are processed in a timely and accurately manner, effectively communicating with internal parties, Vendors and Customers to avoid delays and maintain customer satisfaction.

 

Accountabilities

 

  1. Using NOVA Tracking Report for Re-exports, Re-deliveries, Placards, Returned Cargo
  2. KPI Matrix expected in delivering responses withing 2-4 TAT
  3. Working incoming daily emails in NOVA – placing in Pending and Closing once completed
  4. Monthly Re-billing for containers that ingate back in as Empty
  5. Identify, recommend and implement process improvements to Service Delivery
  6. Reviewing Weekly Idle Cargo Reports and sending to CMA distribution
  7. Collecting all documents issued and sent to the customer when completing and sending Salvage Packets to Norfolk Salvage Team
  8. Researching various items (Rails & Terminals for container out-gate information)
  9. Proof reading and printing Final Lien letters to mail via FedEX
  10. Processing Salvage Packets
  11. Sending Idle Reporting to company distribution

Qualifications

 

1. High school degree or equivalent required. Bachelor’s, Associate, or 4-year technical degree preferred

2. Previous Customer Service Experience/Logistics/Transportation– 1 year preferred LARA – 1 year preferred

3. Ability to convey legal concepts and requirements

4. Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must, as is an ability to rapidly organize and analyze complex and diverse situations and large amounts of data

5. Must possess excellent performance skills in the following areas:
