Finance Analyst

Summary
The Financial Analyst is responsible to ensure your areas of responsibilities are reported and recorded accurately and all reporting deadlines are met. The position will monitor accounting records, coordinate with Shared Service Centers, analyze accounting and financial data, and ensure accuracy of financial information.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Accounting and Reporting
- Perform monthly reviews of the balance sheet accounts based on the risk matrix, monitor P&L activity and communicate the risks from review.
- Assist with monthly closing process and responsibilities to prepare for sign off on monthly closing package; follow up on issues identified during package review.
- Help with internal and external audits deliverables and ensure that deficient findings are addressed and remedied within the accounting records.
Compliance
- Ensure that internal control policies are implemented as per Group Internal Control guidelines. Implement corrective actions in case deviations are identified.
Other tasks covered by the team include:
- Forecasting and Accrual Management
- Test and update accrual managements rules
- Run and perform required analyses to facilitate accounting and management result reconciliation
- Bank Reconciliations
- Perform US bank reconciliations
- Monitor worldwide reconciliations
- P&L analysis
- Review assigned categories throughout the month and propose correcting entries and communicate with AP teams to align coding.
- Meeting month end deadline for reviews
Skills and Knowledge
- Degree in Accounting or Finance with accounting background preferred
- Solid analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability of working on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth knowledge of the company.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite Products (MS Word, EXCEL, etc.) and experience with SAP preferred.
