Booking & Export Documentation Officer,

YOUR MISSIONS:

Within the Customer Care Department, you will handle reservations and confirm them to the client. You will ensure the recording of information in accordance with commercial requirements, Group procedures, and customer satisfaction rules.

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Manage booking requests in the dedicated tool.
  • Perform mandatory checks at the time of booking (routing, pricing, allocation, etc.).
  • For specialized cargo (dangerous/OOG + Breakbulk), ensure that requests are completed and necessary approvals are obtained.
  • Integrate and confirm bookings after verifying the necessary conditions, in compliance with CMA CGM Group procedures.
  • Ensure the verification of regulations related to the goods and the destination country, the availability of ship space and equipment, as well as the necessary elements for taxation during documentation processing.
  • Control freight-related information (validity of pricing, payer, POP, etc.).
  • Coordinate with Hangar 14 regarding LCL vehicles for EXPORT.
  • Manage booking modifications/cancellations in the system.
  • Ensure the compliance of elements provided by clients with current customs regulations: VGM, quay reception, BAS, etc., and follow up with clients who have not completed their EXPORT formalities within the given deadlines.
  • Update the stages of the journey in the context of internal modifications for ship delays, missed stops, rollovers, cut & run, late VGM, etc.
  • Coordinate changes after the closure of the stopover (e.g., COD, switch BL, reissuance of BL).
  • Control and invoice files in compliance with the conditions granted to the client.
  • Handle the exchange of documents related to loading, after verifying the conformity of BsL, in accordance with Group procedures.
  • Adhere to documentary rules and Group policy.
  • Handle "Cases" related to booking and EXPORT documentation in NOVA Care.

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Higher education in international trade/transport/logistics.
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience.
  • First experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of office tools and International Trade.
  • Fluent in English.
