Import Documentation Assistant (Temporary Position)

  • Coordinate with SSC by checking shipping documentation (invoicing, manifesting, regulatory documentation) is compliant with legal and Group standard and in line with customer satisfaction rules in order to ensure customer support, control taxation and invoicing. 

  • Coordinate the import call closure.

  • Monitor vessel schedule on a daily basis in order to organize and control working schedule of the team.

  • Control BL & Manifest amendments after manifest, documentation and payment for release.

  • Coordinate the pre and post discharge reconciliations with SSC, and customer request on Change of Destination.

  • Monitor communication protocols (request of information) between SSC, Agency and Customers.

  • Check information for accuracy, clean the data if necessary in order to perform required custom declarations as per local regulations.

  • Receive telex release, enter data related to COD and other BL amendments, delivery cargo after checking usual control points (e.g. payment, documentation and endorsement).

  • Deal with special requests, custom notifications and other service requirements made by client.
