MISSION:
To provide a quality service to our customers through a special supervision of intermodal services in SENEGAL and related countries (Mali, Gambia, Guinea and Mauritania, etc.) by guaranteeing an efficient and optimal documentary and operational supervision. Planning and supervision of container transportations within the country and to the hinterland. Optimise the flow of empty and full equipment to the various depots.
RESPONSIBILITIES
INTERMODAL :
- Creation of a delivery tracking file in collaboration with suppliers.
- Statistical analysis of the BLD pier market - top customers paying the least D&D. - Ensure that BLD documentation is collected and made available on time.
- Set up a daily Tcs departure tracking file / Set up a weekly TEU tracking file.
- Update Mali to MH file in conjunction with Agence Mali.
- Update SENEGAL to MH file Set up customer feedback file in conjunction with sales team.
- Daily follow-up of BLD shipment reports for VIP customers.
- Support the sales teams in selling intermodal products/services.
- Support the reconciliation of costs and revenues as required.
LOGISTICS :
- Implementation of an empty availability matrix with sales representatives, providing real time (d-1) stock status before booking and sales forecasts.
- Updating of RECAPS upon receipt of vessels. - Follow-up of Idle BLD and Litigation /BLD longstandings.
- Monitor and update systematic transfer movements.
PROFILE & SKILLS:
- Minimum of a 3+ level degree in Transport Logistics or related field.
- Proficiency in Office Suite software: Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook
