Environmental Terminals & Inland Officer

YOUR ROLE

You will ensure the compliance with applicable CSR Corporate rules as well as national and international legislation for Terminals & Inland Assets. 

You actively develop and standardize environmental standards for Terminals & Inland Assets within the Corporate standards. 
You communicate and follow specific projects for our different subsidiaries CMA Terminals, Terminal Link and CCIS.
 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

•    To be responsible for the implementation, training, follow-up of the environmental reporting according to the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). 
•    To be responsible for the establishment of the Annual GHG Report for Terminals & Inland Assets. 
•    To assist and support Terminals & Inland Assets as well as HO relevant departments concerned, on feasibility studies for assigned projects including the roadmap and trajectories of decarbonization.
•    To develop, ensure the follow-up, and updates of the QSSE Guidelines standards related to environment and relevant CSR obligations.
•    To assist the Environmental Manager in the development of a common environmental culture among the Terminals & Inland Assets.
•    To provide support and expertise to the existing sites and to the future projects or acquisitions to ensure the compliance with the applicable rules and regulations as well as the with the Corporate standards.
•    To participate to the reporting of the department as defined in the communication plan.
•    To organize regular training sessions on environmental and CSR standards by developing dedicated materials and animating webinars and seminars.
•    To participate to the crisis team as member in compliance with the global crisis management plan when requested. 
 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR ? 

•    Requires minimum certificate qualification in environmental engineering: Master 2 or Engineering School with specialization in environment. 
•    Requires at least 3 years proven record of environment related experience preferably from port operations and/or heavy equipment industry.
•    Computer Usage at level Intermediate/Basic (Use of OFFICE: Word, Excel, Power Point, Etc.) or Application Programs.
•    Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 is a plus.
•    Motivated, agile, work in team, familiar with digital tools, open on the international and different cultures, innovative, curious and mobile are the quality to ensure this job.
•    Language: Fluent in English and French.
