Global Sales - Project Manager (M/F) - CMA CGM Head Office

THE ROLE:

 

As a member of the Global Sales Department, you will be instrumental in transforming the organization's tools and processes that affect global sales operations worldwide.

 

Based at our headquarters, you will operate within an international and multicultural setting. You'll be supported by a project officer in your day-to-day activities and will collaborate with various other departments to ensure:

 

  • Understanding the project's stakes, requirements, and expectations.
  • Defining and confirming business needs accurately.
  • Coordinating with key stakeholders within the project and GA business.
  • Analyzing current and future processes to assess their impact.
  • Leading change management by communicating clearly and supporting training for teams.

 

 

RESPONSABILITIES :

 

  1. Support management in articulation and formalizing the department's vision and organization:
  • Ensure management at the Head Office, Regional Offices, and Agencies are fully aligned.
  • Support global sales management, vertical managers, and business development team in creating value related to the transformation (vertical strategy, client segmentation, ...).
  • Facilitate skills development of the team (Vertical Managers, GKAMs, Inside Sales, …)
  • Coordinate Global Sales organizational impact and changes
  • Guarantee transformation updates are reflected in tools and processes.

 

  1. Facilitate the roll out and adoption of the CRM (Nova) & Contract storage platform (Digidoc):
  • Engage proactively in the development and specification of business requirements.
  • Become proficient with the system to offer support to sales teams.
  • Conduct training and manage the transition for any newly introduced features.
  • Detect and manage the resolution of issues and the implementation of improvements.
  • Track KPIs related to the utilization of the tools and the thoroughness of the data entered.

 

  1. Ensure successful onboarding and effective leadership of the Sponsorship program:
  • Streamline sponsor onboarding process, ensuring understanding of roles and responsibilities.
  • Lead the program while maintaining clear communication about the latest interactions.
  • Organize annual COMEX account presentation, while briefings all key stakeholders involved.

 

  1. Coordinate Global Sales Annual Commercial Action Plan (Budget):
  • Initiate and ensure the quality of the annual budget planning process and kick off.
  • Facilitate workshops (~ 50 - 90) to ensure alignment with shipping lines.
  • Deliver a consolidated view of the annual budget to senior management.

 

 

  1. Assist management in launching new projects or processes:
  • Collect necessary information from relevant stakeholders to provide a holistic understanding.
  • Organize and format the collected information to evaluate its impact.

 

 

PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS :

 

  • 5 years of higher education in Consulting, Project Management, and International Business
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Senior consultant, Project Manager, or Change Leader
  • Proficient in formalizing processes in PowerPoint
  • Strong written and spoken English skills
  • Results-driven and customer satisfaction-oriented
  • Excellent performance management and project monitoring abilities
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Good communication, assertiveness, analysis, and synthesis skills
  • Service-oriented, team player, and strong interpersonal skills.
