Network Business Developer

There are two open positions: one for Brazil and one for France/Morocco, both based in Marseille.

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a Network Business Developer to assist the Network Director in monitoring and developing the Region. 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

The Network Business Developer will have a specific focus on the countries reporting directly to the Head Office

Business Development

•    Monitors performance vs. targets (weekly volumes, monthly market share analysis, filling factors)
•    Challenges, analyses & reports main issues as well as action plans from the network
•    Follows up progress of action plans and reports deviations
•    Sets up monitoring and reporting tools

Agency Scorecard

•    Monitors operational & financial performances (roadmap KPIs, GM Cockpit)
•    Challenges, analyses & reports main issues + action plans from the network (SG&A, OPEX, …)
•    Follows-up progress of action plans and reports deviations 

Other 

•    Monitors and reports the projects supporting business development (CCIS, Intermodal, …)
•    Contributes to market intelligence (competition watch and market trends) and analysis of impacts
•    Contributes to the preparation of budget, business trips and seminars, 
•    Makes sure that reporting from the network is up-to-date (strategic deck, market news, …) 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

•    Strong analytical and result-driven mindset – ability to interpret data, monitor performance, and drive action plans.
•    Excellent communication skills – ability to engage with stakeholders across different countries and cultures.
•    Proven business development experience – market analysis, competition monitoring, and strate-gic decision-making.
•    Strong organizational skills – capable of managing multiple projects and ensuring timely follow-ups.
•    Minimum 5 years of experience in shipping – ideally with exposure to agency operations and per-formance monitoring.
•    Ability to work in an international, fast-paced environment.
•    Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools is a plus.
