MISSION:

 

The main objective of this role is to support the sales team in our Sao Paolo Agency that handles complex shipping requests (IMO, OOG…). You will join the Special Cargo Department, where you will maintain and optimize vessel loading for assigned zones. Your mission will involve providing customized solutions, ensuring exceptional service, and resolving intricate logistical challenges to meet the specific needs of clients. You will have to study the market and push for extra mile results.

 

RESPONSABILITIES:

 

  • A real expert in the sector assigned to you, you will be responsible for marketing monitoring (market research, statistics, etc.) and will submit regular reports on performance indicators to your manager.
  • Identify the commercial market opportunities, develop market shares and/or improve outcomes according to commercial strategy.
  • Contribute to the sales budgeting process and analyze sales results and variances against budget in order to propose corrective measures.
  • Participate in establishing the Commercial actions plan and ensure the agency sales’ segmentation is correct and up to date.
  • Apply Reefer's sales and pricing policies to the area assigned to you and receive and process requests for quotes from agents and customers.
  • Support the sales team on a dedicated portfolio of customers, follow-up on quotations and their status, generally provide back-up for Outside or Inside Sales.
  • Contribute to dispute resolution and liaise with Pricers (Freight & DDSM claims).
  • As a key contact for the agents and main customers in your area of assignment, you may be required to organize visits to our local branches.

 

PROFILE:

 

  • Currently finishing the first year of a master’s degree in a Business School (M1/+4 years).
  • A first experience in the shipping business or in a logistics position appreciated.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills, a customer-oriented approach with conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, an analytical mindset with ability to use data to drive decision making.
  • Expertise in specialized products is a differential.
  • Fluent English is mandatory, please note one of the interviews will be conducted in English.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and/or French is appreciated.
  • Professional proficiency with Excel and MS Office.
