Role Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and process-oriented Head of Asia Feedering Procurement & SOC to join our Singapore office. In this role, you will manage a diverse team to execute departmental strategy in alignment with internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for building cost-effective and reliable feeder networks, driving process improvements, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. You will also oversee relationships with third-party feeder companies, resolve operational issues, ensure full compliance with procurement policies, and foster a high-performance, collaborative team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procure and manage a reliable, cost-effective third-party feeder network across APAC.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to secure capacity for market growth, including underutilized services.
- Lead third-party feeder tender to meet the group’s strategic demands through high strategic negotiation skills
- Manage the Procurement team to achieve KPIs and ensure full compliance with company policies.
- Ensure full availability of 3rd party feedering networks with valid contracts to CC Group
- Identify SOC opportunities in underutilized corridors
- Guide the SOC pricing team on rate adjustments based on utilization.
- Support Finance on AR/AP issues with SOC customers on overdue payments
- Build strong relationships with other shipping lines and SOC customers
- Forecast third-party feeder spend and report to management
- Prepare and present performance reports to group leadership.
- Attend Monthly Results Meetings to review and optimize Feeder Services and SOC performance.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the container shipping industry.
- 2–3 years of experience in operations or feedering roles is preferred
- Strong knowledge of vessel operations, cargo flow, and partnership agreements.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive impactful business outcomes.
- Strong cross-cultural awareness and understanding of international business practices.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects with a successful track record.
