Head of Network & Alliance

CHENG LIE Navigation Company (CNC Line) is a leader in intra-Asia trade. Subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, CNC Line offers personalized services and has specific expertise in the transport of containers with temperature control (refrigerated containers or Reefers).

Summary 
In this role you will be responsible for developing and building commercial and strategic relationships with our key targeted partners. You will also play an integral role in providing reliable and cost-effective solutions to CMA CGM lines using CNC inhouse services.
 
Your main responsibilities are, but not limited to:

• Review CNC current network constantly with Line Management team 
• Close collaboration with GNA team to understand ongoing issues with Partners and follow up to its logical conclusion
• Monitor competitors services / rotations and update Management on competitor’s capacity movements
• Engage with Heads of each Asian country to understand their evolving requirements with respect to space and coverage
• Collaborate with Cargo Flow and ARO team to understand Intra Asia Feedering requirements for the long-haul trades
• Collaborate with Line Management team to conduct feasibility research to study and launch new services, or to optimize current services
• Negotiate with Partners to create new swap services where our appetite is lower than VSA limits
• Build close working relation with Partners at their HO countries to maintain good rapport and identify opportunities and/or synergies to grow
• Identify and provide training to the GNA team as required by their respective job profile

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the container shipping industry, with a focus on business development
• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field
• Proven track record of driving growth and revenue targets.
• Ability to travel when required
