Key Account Officer, GA

 

CHENG LIE Navigation Company (CNC Line) is a leader in intra-Asia trade. Subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, CNC Line offers personalized services and has specific expertise in the transport of containers with temperature control (refrigerated containers or Reefers).

 

 

Summary
As the Key Account Officer, you will manage a portfolio of Global BCO Accounts (GA). You will be responsible for achieving the annual budget in terms of volume and yield. You will engage with various stakeholders to improve customers’ experience with CNC and increase the share of wallet for the GA customers.

 

We are looking for an excellent communicator with customer facing and account management experience.

 

Your main responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • Develop robust plan to achieve annual target in TEU and Yield in USD set together with CMA HO Key Account team.
  • Manage tender process and negotiation with GA customers at different stages.
  • Act as CNC focal contact, identify customer needs and opportunities for CNC.
  • Cultivating good business relationships with clients
  • Drive and measure performance on regular basis internally and towards customers
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver the best customer experience and to increase share of wallet from customers.
  • Communicate the commercial directions to the network, push and pull to maximize market share. Joint visit with local team if necessary.
  • Promote and sell new products/services to customers.
  • Reduce Account Receivable

 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • At least 3 years of related field experience in the shipping and logistics industry
  • Good knowledge of the shipping and logistics industry
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite i.e. Excel – vlookup and pivot, PowerPoint presentations, etc
  • Diploma or Degree in relevant discipline

 

To excel in this role, you should possess great interpersonal skill and good analytical skills
