Operations Studies Executive
CHENG LIE Navigation Company (CNC Line) is a leader in intra-Asia trade. Subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, CNC Line offers personalized services and has specific expertise in the transport of containers with temperature control (refrigerated containers or Reefers).
Summary
In this role, you will be reporting to the Operations Efficiency and Studies Manager. You will be responsible for supporting CNC Operation Activities in Fleet deployment and optimization through analysis studies and proforma adjustments.
Your main responsibilities are, but not limited to:
- Design new/ revise existing proforma in coordination with respective stakeholders
- Periodical review of existing services to ensure full optimization of the products (windows, speed, moves, productivity, shifting
- Develop and implement strategies for cost savings such as bunker savings
- Analyze ports and vessels performances and provide recommendation for improvement.
- Identify areas for process improvement, implement changes, and monitor the effectiveness of those changes.
- Set and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that reflect the effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes.
- Identify & implement projects with IT department to optimize system and software tools to improve operational performance
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 8 – 10 years of relevant experience in Shipping industry and vessel operations
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime Business, Supply Chain and Logistics
- Proficiency in MS office suite and
- Proficiency in MS Excel formulas i.e. H/Vlookup, Index is a must
- Knowledge of IMO2023 CII compliant would be a plus
