Line Manager (f/m/d) Hamburg

For our entity in Hamburg we are rectruiting a Line Manager (f/m/d) for Short Sea Lines - Intra North Europe: 

Your mission:
Core to the business activities of the Company, you will have to manage the business development and optimisation of the loading capacity of vessels for a specific line in order to maximize financial results. 
 

Your responsibilities include:

• First of all, you will have to assist the Line Manager in the management of the Line and supervise the sales team. 
• You will have to draw up quantitative (turnover and profitability) and qualitative (service quality and customer satisfaction) objectives in order to increase the number of direct customers of the Line. 
• Besides, you will have to ensure the business strategy and pricing policy of the Group that you define, and carry out mixed cargo adjustment actions. 
• Finally, you will have to lead your network of agents, follow up and develop the customer portfolio. Finally you will develop a competitive intelligence plan and participate to the creation of new maritime Lines.  

You bring aboard:

• You have a postgraduate degree in Business or Transport and a 5 years minimum experience in a similar position with team management responsibilities. 
• You are perfectly fluent in English and have excellent managerial skills. 
• You are responsive, have a critical thinking, persuasive skills as well as a strong ability to synthesise. 
• Your interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to develop efficiently the activity of the Line.
