THE ROLE :
As a Business Developer, you will join a two-year program to develop your skills in trade, marketing, and commercial operations across various departments. Your role includes conducting market analysis, supporting tender management, and contributing to the development and implementation of ANL’s pricing policy.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?
ANL Studies and Marketing Management (50%)
Business Intelligence
• Produce regular reporting to identify market trends, areas for improve-ment, opportunities and provide recommendations respectively.
• Conduct potential studies on markets or new/updated products; collabo-rate to offer design
Market Intelligence
• Collect market data/intelligence and produce ad hoc statistical and/or sales performance reports
• Maintain various Qliksense dashboards such as: Port Stats, JOC, Ves-sel Utilization, to ensure accurate data is being presented to business.
Competitor analysis
• Monitor, analyse and report on competitor activities / price for ANL ser-vices.
• Monitor all partners / competitors in determining where ANL is bench-marked against in transit time variances and service supply factor dif-ferences.
ANL Tender Management (25%)
Tender Management
• Manage the update of the pricing policy and assist with the compilation and distribution of working procedures for Global account customers.
• Monitor and report to stakeholders on tender results
• Supervise the maintenance of the regional/global accounts database.
Customer Performance monitoring
• Prepare regular reports to Global, agency, state and commercial man-agers on tenders received, progress of tenders, and final results
• Produce and analyze customer's volume reports, coordinate account performance with commercial team
ANL Trade Management (25%)
Line Commercial/Trade Management
• Provide support in all aspect of (a) northbound pricing, (b) preparation/ analysis/monitoring of ANL Lines performance, (c) analysis of competitive information in the trade, (d) analysis of performance of trade versus strategies employed
• Ensure timely preparation, and distribution of pricing related request to the agency network through our trade management system (LARA/AQUA)
Network Commercial Performance monitoring
• Monitor agents sales plans against actual lift to ensure targets are met with regular agency call
• Support the commercial agency performance providing regular update on vessel profile, market share evolution, and customer allocation update
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?
- In accordance with the provisions of Article L122-1 of the National Service Code, only candidates aged 18 to 28 and European nationals are eligible for this mission offered as a VIE.
- Holding a Master’s degree (Bac +5) from a top business school or prestigious university, you have initial experience in an international environment.
- Knowledge of the Oceanian continent would be a real asset. You have full proficiency in English.
- Your rigor, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to adapt to your environment are essential assets for succeeding in this mission, which serves as a springboard for a career within our Group.
