Business Support Intern


Permanent Key Responsibilities:

  • Create invoice register file to record invoices received from the lines.
  • Filter and re-format the raw data provided by CMA, CNC, APL and CMA ARO.
  • Retrieve the loading data from LARA system using DSR tools.
  • Reconcile loading figures per vessel voyage against invoices received from CMA, CNC, APL and CMA ARO.
  • Investigate any discrepancy and report to business support manager.
  • Submit the reconciled data in excel to business support manager for further validation and payment approval.

Other responsibilities: The incumbent will be assigned to other departments so that she/he will learn other shipping functions.


ANL Agency:

Customer Service:

  • The incumbent will be trained on how to receive booking from customers and how to enter into the LARA system.
  • The incumbent will be taught on how to create bill of lading and manifest.
  • The incumbent will be taught on how to use the portnet system.
  • If permitted the incumbent will also join the sales agent to visit Singapore customers so that she/he will be exposed on outside sales.

ANL Trade:

  • The incumbent will be trained on pricing and quotation
  • The incumbent will be trained on how to maintain booking reports.

Business Support:

  • The incumbent will be trained also on how to manage the container transshipment both from Singapore and Port Klang.
  • The incumbent will also be trained on how to manage detention and demurrage.
