- Accountable for the planning, management, and implementation of all project cargo transportation by road, sea, and air for imports/exports to/from UAE.
- Obtaining quotes from transport companies, shipping lines, airlines, and other service providers, as well as for equipment needed to transport project cargo.
- Recognizing and obtaining appropriate vessels, aircraft, trailers, etc., for transporting project cargo considering the size, weight, and shape of the cargo from relevant service providers.
- Determining the best solution for both the client and the company based on their needs.
- Successfully address issues and mitigate risks to guarantee the attainment of goals.
- Generate regular reports and plans as required.
- Offer innovative ideas to enhance net profits.
- Completing agreements with suppliers and performing due diligence in accordance with company policy.
- Providing rate quotes to clients and pursuing business opportunities.
- SOP development for a particular project in partnership with the client and commercial team.
- Coordinating with ocean, air, and customs clearance departments to ensure prompt shipment execution.
- Making sure that the job files are accessed, and billing is finalized promptly according to the established organizational requirements by the team members.
- Making sure that accounts with customers are monitored consistently to guarantee the collection of payments from customers within the designated credit period.
- Promote interaction and collaboration among the origin offices, suppliers, and local executing bodies to guarantee that business actions are efficiently converted into organized operational service delivery.
- Accountable for maintaining data accuracy and adhering to operational procedures meticulously.
- Support the loading and unloading of Project Cargo and ensure that field operations staff receive daily updates on planned deliveries.
