YOUR ROLE
  

 

  • Mon-Fri, 8.00am – 4.06pm shift
  • Base rate of $31.01 / hour + 13.75% super
  • Role offered under the CEVA Logistics & Transport Workers Union National EA, the details of which can be found at fwc.gov.au.

 

We're looking for a driven and focused Yardperson to provide administrative support within operations, at our Finished Vehicle Logistics branch at Wingfield SA.
 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

Specifically, you will:

 

  • Preparing and staging vehicles for drivers both local and interstate
  • Inspect incoming vehicles for any pre-existing damage and record findings
  • Scan vehicles into our system to track and update their exact location
  • Place car booklets and essential documentation in each vehicle
  • Travel across to our other compounds/worksites as required.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
 

Our ideal candidate is someone looking to gain broader experience within transport operations, whilst providing valuable "hands on" support in a fast paced setting. You should also have:

 

  • A valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
  • Be proficient in operating both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions

  • High attention to detail and a proactive mindset.

 

In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to complete a medical assessment and national police check.
