YOUR ROLE
To complete our team, we are looking for an Inbound Quality Control in Zaandam. As an Inbound Quality Control your goal is to keep the customer's inventory in order. This includes tasks such as conducting an cycle counting, stock control, and identifying improvements.
You and your colleagues work together at different levels to manage and analyze inventory. CEVA has a culture of growth, and it is important that you are willing to be a part of it. If you don't have full experience yet and want to grow quickly, you are still welcome to apply.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
You will be part of the Inbound Quality Control team at one of our new warehouse locations in Zaandam. For this location we have a Global energy leader driving the transition with power, grid, and renewable solutions. In this role you are the first checking person for the incoming goods. You will have frequent contact with your order pick colleagues and supervisors on the floor. The department and our organization are constantly evolving, so there are plenty of opportunities to learn and further develop yourself.
After goods have been picked and packed you prepare the shipping documentation. Quality means that all inbounds are thoroughly checked on possible damages and defects. And that all outbound orders are shipped correctly. Your working hours are during the day, and they can be flexibly scheduled as the warehouse is open from 08:00 to 17:00. And a fun fact: we have a brand-new and modern building in Zaandam!
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Your English proficiency is good because all systems and communication with colleagues and customers are in English.
- Strong skills with numerical databases (e.g., Excel, Access, WMS systems) as you will conduct many analyses based on data dumps.
- Working experience with controlling in a logistic environment.
- Providing a Certificate of No Objection (VGB) is required; the application costs will be covered by CEVA.

Additionally, we offer:
- A competitive salary ranging from €2.545,- to €3.346,- depending on your work experience and educational level.
- Possibility for 40 hours, but 32 or 36 hours is also possible.
- A one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent position.
- 25 vacation days, 5 ADV (on fulltime basis).
- Profit sharing of up to 3% based on positive company results.
