Contract Logistics Operations Contract Management Supervisor CL

Supervise the execution of operational processes for a variety of logistics tasks, including the safe receipt, movement, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods using advanced technical knowledge and support in a wide range of logistics operations policies, programs, and practices.

Manage programs of limited scope or areas, while higher-level roles operate programs of significant impact and scope, generally involving multiple disciplines or areas.

 

  1. Supervise the execution of operational processes to ensure they are carried out according to Safe Work Methods and established procedures.
  2. Supervise personnel, including training, performance evaluation, compensation recommendations, and performance management.
  3. Continuously analyze and review operations, results, feedback, and related information to determine trends, draw conclusions, interpret findings, and present results, proposals, and recommendations to management.
  4. Provide assistance in research topics and develop recommendations to resolve operational or safety conditions.
  5. Assist in the development of project/program objectives for operations/warehousing, including budgets, timelines, materials, personnel, and other project requirements; receive guidance and present information to management; may develop and manage areas of moderate scope or impact.
  6. Interpret and apply department policies and procedures and assist with applicable laws, rules, and regulations; ensure compliance with processes and operations, and receive guidance within these areas as needed.
  7. Develop action plans based on root cause analysis for operational opportunities.
  8. Manage assigned resources to ensure the operational area has the necessary personnel, tools, and equipment for process execution.
