                                                                                                            Customs Broker

For our location in Bucharest Otopeni Airport, we are looking for a Customs Broker (Declarant)  who will perform the operational activity onsite. 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Process customs documentation required for customs procedures according to client requirements

Provide the necessary administration related activities

Maintains knowledge of all applicable customs laws, tariffs, and regulations

Ensures that all shipments comply with customs laws and regulations

Communicate with the client, customs administration and shipping companies to ensure smooth handling of shipments, including participation in customs procedures

Works closely with other customs staff at other company sites and with other company departments

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Minimum 3-5 years as a customs broker (declarant)

Secondary education with a high school diploma

Knowledge of English language is an advantage

Advanced knowledge of customs regulations

Knowledge of economic procedures and customs warehousing is an advantage, as well as knowledge of preferential/non-preferential trade

General PC skills (Microsoft Office)

Diligence, responsibility, independence, proactive approach, teamwork

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

 B category driving licence - active driver
