YOUR ROLE

 

The HR Manager is responsible for aligning HR practices with the company’s business objectives. This role involves overseeing talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and organizational culture while ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal policies. The HR Manager plays a key role in fostering a positive work environment, supporting leadership, and driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, and productivity.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

HR Strategy Development

 

  • Implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s overall business objectives.
  • Oversee the application of internal HR policies and ensure their alignment with operational needs.
  • Collaborate with regional HR teams to support the implementation and alignment of group-wide HR initiatives and strategic projects

 

Talent Attraction and Retention

 

  • Implement employee retention strategies to foster engagement and maintain a positive work environment.

 

Recruitment and Workforce Planning

  • Lead the full recruitment cycle: job definition, posting, interviews, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with operational managers to anticipate staffing needs and structure teams accordingly.

 

Performance, Appraisal Systems and Talent Management

  • Implement performance management systems that promote excellence and accountability.
  • Conduct people reviews, identify key roles and high-potential employees, and develop succession plans.

 

Training and Development

  • Assess training needs, design development programs, and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Support teams in achieving their professional goals and career growth.

 

Compensation, Benefits, and HR Administration

  • Implement compensation and benefits policies.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including monitoring attendance and managing leave administration.
  • Ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance with labor laws and internal procedures, and coordinate payroll and benefits with external providers.
  • Negotiate insurance and social coverage contracts.

 

HR Reporting and Budget Management

  • Monitor HR budgets (headcount, payroll, etc.) and ensure alignment with financial constraints.
  • Produce and present key HR metrics (e.g., turnover, absenteeism) to senior management.

 

Employee Relations and Social Dialogue

  • Manage relationships with employee representatives and social bodies (e.g., Comité d’entreprise, Health & Safety Committee).
  • Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and promote a healthy work climate.

 

Compliance and Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, internal policies and international standards.
  • Supervise the preparation and maintenance of HR documentation in line with company policies.

 

Internal Communication

  • Develop and implement effective internal communication strategies to foster transparency and engagement.

 

HR Information Systems (HRIS)

  • Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of HR data within HRIS platforms (MyHR SAP SuccessFactors).

 

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop the HR team: recruitment, training, performance management, and career development.

 

Actively contribute as a member of the Morocco Management Team.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

  • Master’s degree (Bac +5) in Human Resources, Labor Law, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (minimum 8–10 years) in a strategic HR role, including at least 5 years as an HR Director or Senior HR Manager in an industrial, logistics, or multinational environment.
  • Strong expertise in core HR functions: recruitment, talent management, training, employee relations, payroll, personnel administration, and labor law.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional HR projects (e.g., digital transformation, organizational change, change management).
  • Solid knowledge of local labor laws (Moroccan Labor Code) and international standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
  • Proficiency in HRIS and HR management software (MyHR SAP SuccessFactors).
  • Strong leadership, active listening, and team-building capabilities.
  • Proven strategic vision, organizational alignment, and long-term HR planning capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical, planning, and budget management skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of discretion, rigor, and results orientation.
  • Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written.
