YOUR ROLE

 

Our Business Development team in Europe is seeking a motivated and strategic Consumer & Retail Regional Sector Lead Europe to lead our customer portfolio within the Consumer & Retail sector. This exciting role involves identifying new business opportunities, collaborating with regional sales teams, and ensuring the seamless delivery of Integrated Logistics Solutions across Air, Ocean, Ground, and Rail Logistics.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Reporting to the Business Development Leader for the region, you will take ownership of the sector's growth strategy and operational excellence while fostering collaboration across teams.

  • Develop and deploy the sector go to market strategy by market evaluation, identifying competition, ensuring growth to meet the organization’s objectives
  • Demonstrate market leadership participating in key external events and meetings and leading strategic pursuits
  • Actively and collaborative contribute to grow the business by evaluating, qualifying and pursue customers and assisting the team in meeting their targets and also drive RFQ responses
  • Deploying and monitoring Sales Management processes/policies ensuring customer expectation, improving customer experience and driving operational excellence
  • Co-build and develop a high impact BD organization ensuring a "One Team" approach
  • Educate product leaders on the specifics of the sector and collaborate on market approach for the various products 

     

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

To succeed in this role, you will bring a proven track record in business development within the logistics or freight forwarding industry, ideally in the Consumer & Retail sector. You will have a deep understanding of the industry, a strong network, and the ability to think strategically while driving results. A Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience is essential, as is fluency in English (French is a plus). Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to lead cross-border teams are critical attributes, along with excellent time management and communication skills.
