YOUR ROLE

 

As a Logistics Engineer at CEVA Logistics, you will leverage your expertise in logistics engineering to identify and deliver operational solutions that improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our transportation systems. This role involves a comprehensive approach to collecting, reviewing, and analyzing logistics data and operational systems to recommend solutions or changes to current operations. Your responsibilities will also include creating project proposals and presentations for clients or management, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders, identifying project milestones, and removing any roadblocks that may hinder progress.

 

Role & Responsibilities:

 

  • Collect, review, and analyze logistic and operational system data
  • Recommend solutions or changes to current or proposed system operations
  • Assist with developing cost models, assumptions, and risks for projects
  • Develop project proposals or presentations for customers or management
  • Identify and deliver on project milestones, communicating with stakeholders
  • Develop or recommend standard operating procedures and work instructions
  • Perform work, time, and efficiency studies to understand operations
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations
  • Assist with related safety, quality, and environmental needs
  • Follow up on the implementation of projects from initiation to completion, including regular updates to stakeholders.

 

 

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial or economics engineering or equivalent education and experience; master’s degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of fundamental professional industrial principles and practices.
  • Understanding of the medical environment and its requirements
  • Capable of developing analytics, reports, and communications within engineering and operational design.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders and team members.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools for tracking progress and managing resources.
  • Ability to foster collaboration among team members to drive project success
  • Ability to communicate potential operational or analytical concerns.
  • Ability to identify areas to drive efficiency and operational effectiveness. 
  • Knowledge or Experience on Lean methodology is an asset
  • Fluency in English both written and oral
