YOUR ROLE 

Reporting to the Transit Manager, the Transit Agent's main task is to create, break down and monitor all BLD and Systematic Transfer files,  to manage customs and administrative formalities, coordinate the appropriate means of transporting goods, negotiate with carriers, closely monitor the shipment of goods, under the responsibility of the Transit Business Unit, in compliance with current CEVA LOGISTICS procedures. 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? 

• Obtaining invoices from shipping lines, airlines, bonded warehouses and stevedores  

• Depositing payment orders with the various banks  

• Assisting with stuffing and unstuffing operations  

• Depositing files with customs and shipping lines, airlines and other  

• Assist with customs inspections and escorts of cargoes for which we are responsible  

• Obtain Electronic Cargo Tracking Bills (ECTB)  

• File customs declarations   

• Obtain Transit Permits  

• Obtain Collection Authorizations from Shipowners, Consignees and Autonomous Ports  

• File bank guarantees  

•  Collect customs clearance documents from customers  

• File Ceva Invoices with customers 

• Attend weekly Transit coordination meetings 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

• Higher degree in Logistics,  

• Fluency in English and French  

• Computer skills  

• Good interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills  

• Team spirit  

• Class B driver's license
