For our Location in Hamburg or Bremen we are looking for a Head of Project Logistics DECH (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.

YOUR FUTHER ROLL:

• Develop and execute comprehensive logistics strategies for large-scale, multi-phase projects
• Lead, manage and mentor a team of logistics professionals
• Identify, qualify an negotiate with logistics service providers and vendors
• Maintenance and expansion of the Germany-wide customer base
• Monitor logistics KPIs, budgets and services levels, take corrective action meet cost and performance targets
• Ensure compliance with international and domestic regulations, including, import/export laws and safety standards.
• Implement risk management strategies to address delays, damages and force majeure events

THAT'S WHAT WE WANT:

• Degree in logistics, business or equivalent.
• 10 years + of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focuses on project logistics.
• Proven track record in development and implementation of business strategies experience of working in multi-cultural teams and across borders.
• Experience in communicating at all layers of an organisaton up to and including C-Level.
• Local market knowledge and negotiating skills
• Cost-conscious behavior and reliability
• Confident knowledge of English an German (written and spoken)
• Confident knowledge of MS Office
• High customer orientation and service orientation with a ability to self organize
• Strong communication skills with a team spirit and commitment
• Flexibility and willing to travel
