YOUR ROLE

In this role as an Ethics & Compliance Specialist at CEVA Logistics, supporting US and Canada. This role will be based in Houston, Texas. You will serve as the primary point of contact, responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and continued improvement of Ethics & Compliance strategies and core program areas for the region under the guidance from relevant E&C Lead for the market, as well as ensuring strong business partnership and alignment with other functions.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
 

• Policies and procedures – rollout and promoting a compliance culture and awareness by advising employees on CEVA E&C Rules & Principles,
• Training and communications – deliver tailor-made compliance training and continuously ensuring that trainings are adapted to the needs of the local organization and followed-up,
• Proactive contribution to the strategy for the assigned Ethics & Compliance (sub) function and the related compliance program areas.
• Where appropriate/required suggest and implement continuous improvement to the strategy and Ethics & Compliance program.

• Foster effective partnership, proactive involvement in, and timely advise & support
• Foster and actively contribute to ensure the needs of the Company’s customers are met & addressed with excellence from an Ethics & Compliance perspective.
• Assist the Ethics & Compliance Lead in the continuous development and implementation of risk identification and management framework,
• Confidential reporting structure and corporate compliance investigations

• Actively contribute to ensure the team works as role model for others in the organization.
• Keep the function apprised of new local regulations, jurisprudence, best practices, and innovations.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education, Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or at least three years of experience in audit / HR with knowledge on local labor regulations; Juris Doctor (JD) degree, preferred
• Bilingual – English/Spanish/ French preferred
