YOUR ROLE
The Chief Compliance Officer provides strategic direction, informs the Management Team of occurring breaches of compliances, and recommends appropriate solutions.
The Chief compliance Officer is responsible for overseeing all compliance matters within CEVA, ensuring compliance with international and local laws, regulatory requirements and procedures.
He/she will introduce and manage standards within the company, compliance programs and ensures noncompliance is spotted early in the process.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Providing strategic direction to the CEO + Management Team, on compliance as well as preparing and presenting clear and concise compliance reports to the board
- Defining the necessary level of knowledge on existing and emerging regulatory compliance requirements across the organization
- Develop annual compliance work plan incorporating all unique elements of CEVA
- Overseeing and monitoring the implementation and handling of global compliance programs and ensure that all compliance issues are registered in a system, are managed on the appropriate level and escalated where needed
- Interacting with regulators on compliance issues as well as internal and external committees
- Ensure all CEVA Entities are compliant with international and local law
- Manages and solves simultaneous global complex compliance investigations
- Promote One CEVA CODE and Group Ethic Chart
- Ensure data protection is globally in line with all relevant laws and regulations and meetings company needs
- Ensure all employees are aware, sensitized and trained regarding all relevant compliance issues
- Coordinate with CMA CGM Group Compliance Officer team and ensure consistency with CMA Programs (including Group Ethic Chart)
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Master degree // Degree in Law and/or professional certification that supports Compliance & Ethics managerial responsibilities
- Minimum of 15 years in a senior legal, specifically compliance role (compliance, law, human behaviour, economics, management & leadership)
- Strong HR, Finance, Audit or Business experience and awareness
- Minimum of 5 years supervisory or managerial experience
- Technical skills for trade compliance, competition, data privacy , sanctions & Embargos
