As we continue to grow, we are looking for a highly skilled Project/Program Manager. This role will focus on implementing new automation and robotic solutions, as well as managing other new customer implementations and strategic projects. YOUR ROLE
As a Project/Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing operational projects and programs. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver operational efficiency, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive continuous improvement in logistics and supply chain operations.
This role will require strong project management skills, a deep understanding of 3PL operations, in-depth understanding of automation systems, robotics and related technologies with the ability to manage cross-functional teams in a high-stakes environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Project Management & Execution
- Lead site-level projects and programs, ensuring timely and successful execution.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Drive accountability by monitoring progress, resolving issues, and removing roadblocks.
- Ensure all projects comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Manage customer expectations and ensure alignment with operational goals.
- Facilitate regular status meetings, providing clear updates on progress, risks, and opportunities.
- Operational Excellence
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with operational teams to optimize warehouse, inventory, and transportation management.
- Monitor performance against key metrics and take corrective action when necessary.
- Financial Oversight
- Manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Provide detailed financial reporting and analysis to senior leadership.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to foster professional growth.
- Ensure proper staffing and resource allocation to meet operational demands.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or project management.
- Experience managing complex operations within a 3PL or contract logistics environmentand integrating automation systems with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or other enterprise software.
- Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS).
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with tight deadlines and competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and solutioning.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet).
- Flexibility to adjust plans and strategies based on project demands or unforeseen challenges.
- Leadership & Problem-Solving
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and operational demands.
