YOUR ROLE
Our London based Project Logistics team have an exciting opportunity for a Global Chartering Administrator to join the team!
In this global role, you'll support colleagues around the world with chartering administration, playing a key part in the procurement process. You'll manage the overview of all pending charter requests and ongoing charters and prepare contracts to keep everything on track.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Draw up shipping contracts.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date filing system for all chartering enquiries.
- Update and manage the chartering database to ensure all enquiries and related information are recorded properly.
- Produce regular reports, including for the Monthly Business Review (MBR) and CO₂ emissions per shipment.
- Support operational activities for charters in progress, including tracking vessel status and resolving minor issues.
- Assist with large tender submissions by entering accurate cost data and supporting documentation.
- Contribute to team growth by developing skills in rate negotiation and direct communication with shipping lines.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our ideal candidate will have a background or strong interest in logistics, shipping, or supply chain. You may be early in your career and eager to learn or already have some experience in chartering or freight forwarding. You will be organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment. Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and an ambition to develop into a future shipping broker are all key. You will also be IT literate, with confidence using Microsoft-based programs.
