Transport Analyst | Truganina VIC

YOUR ROLE

We’re seeking a Transport Analyst to join our Finished Vehicle Logistics (FVL) division in Truganina VIC. This role sits within the Commercial team and plays a key role in supporting both internal stakeholders and external customers.

You’ll provide data-driven insights, support pricing strategies, track and improve operational performance, and assist in designing and modelling transport solutions for new and existing business.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Specifically, you will:

• Build and maintain pricing models for new and existing customers, helping us quote accurately and competitively
• Present commercial insights and pricing models to customers, supporting account managers and business development teams
• Analyse customer profitability and identify areas of revenue leakage or out-of-scope service delivery
• Support procurement by identifying service gaps and opportunities to reduce costs
• Identify areas where we can reduce costs, improve service, or expand our transport capabilities
• Use tools like Excel and Power BI to create reports and dashboards that help the business make informed decisions.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 
 

Our ideal candidate has experience in transport (domestic road freight support or operations, for example), together with strong applied analytical skills.

You should also have:

• Advanced skills in MS Excel and ability to work effectively with data to infer, extract and translate into actionable insights
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions
• Sound communication, time management and relationship management skills
• Desirable: tertiary or vocational qualification in logistics and supply chain, industrial engineering or a related field
• Desirable: experience with Power BI or other data visualisation tools.

In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to complete a national police check.
