YOUR ROLE
Our multi-user retail and consumer operation based in DIRFT, Crick, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and forward-thinking Warehouse Manager who will provide leadership, operational and customer service excellence across the site ensuring we meet and exceed all KPI and service level agreements not only for CEVA but our customers on site.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Reporting into the site Contract Manager, you will lead a team of warehousing professionals, both direct and indirect reports, plus agency resource where you will implement strategies to form a team that creates, sustains, and embeds a culture of employee engagement and high performance. You will maintain an excellent partnership with the client, driving operational activities to achieve daily performance goals whilst promoting and implementing a health and safety culture on site.
You will provide management control through effective planning, organization, and communication to ensure all KPI targets and customer requirements are fulfilled to the highest possible standards are achieved.
You will drive performance improvements reviewing processes and reporting mechanisms and identify, evaluate, and implement continuous improvement projects in collaboration with internal teams ensuring all activities remain within quality and budgetary targets.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our ideal candidate will have proven experience of leading and managing a warehousing operation within a fast-paced environment, ideally within 3PL or retail and consumer environment. You will be able to demonstrate considerable experience of building and developing exceptional client relationships, possess strong people management skills with the ability to coach and develop others and be a skilled decision maker, negotiator and influencer who is able to interact and engage with colleagues at all levels.
An understanding of cost models and budget tracking along with strong report writing and statistical investigative skills would be desirable.
This role will be working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, working the AM shift.
