YOUR ROLE

The agent is mainly responsible for monitoring groupage files and secondarily to contribute to the follow-up of customs clearance and transit files.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

- Ensure that transit and unbundling files are opened correctly.

- Check the conformity of all documentation.

- Prepare and dispatch cargo arrival notifications to customers.

- Communicate and inform customers and networks of the status of various cargoes.

- Supervise container transfers in collaboration with bonded warehouse teams.

- Inform customers when parcels are available in the warehouse.

- Gather documentation for delivery notes.

- Submit weekly delivery reports to management.

- Prepare and dispatch overdue notices for long-stay goods.

- Prepare monthly documentary and physical inventories, as well as any auctions.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Minimum 2 years of Experience
• Understand, interpret and apply department policies and procedures as well as laws, rules and regulations.
• Review, complete, develop and analyze information.
• Serve as a team member and develop and manage projects.
• Excellent time management, analytical, consultative and negotiation skills.
