YOUR ROLE

The IP Operations Professional is responsible for overseeing the execution of Industrial Project Operations with different transport modes (Air, Ocean, Ground, etc.). This includes qualifying the project and its operational methods, aligning processes, and evaluating vendors. Tasks also involve analyzing vendor quotations, compiling prices and offers from multiple origins, and ensuring compliance with HSSE rules and regulations at all times. Additionally, the role involves managing transport and risk management plans during execution, and being accountable for the physical execution of operations. The professional will also support commercial staff in technical meetings and with operational response documents when needed.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Business Development:

• Prospecting and acquiring new clients for exceptional transport and project cargo.
• Establishing strong relationships with existing clients to maintain and develop partnerships.

Technical Analysis:

• Assessing the technical needs of clients for exceptional transport and project cargo.
• Proposing solutions tailored to the specificities of the goods (dimensions, weight, etc.).

Project Design:

• Planning and coordinating exceptional transport operations, including selecting appropriate equipment and routes.
• Collaborating with operational teams to ensure effective project execution.

Cost and Risk Management:

• Evaluating and managing project costs to ensure profitability.
• Identifying and mitigating potential risks (delays, safety, and environment).

Monitoring and Evaluation:

• Regularly monitoring operations and ensuring compliance with operational SOPs, KPIs and with group requirements
• Continuously evaluating performance to improve processes and results.

Communication:

• Coordinating with internal teams (sales, operations, and logistics) to align efforts.
• Clear and regular communication with clients on the progress of operations.

Ensure invoicing and document Verification

Performs other duties as assigned.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• At least 3 years in the field of exceptional transport or project cargo.
• Good understanding of the equipment and methods used in exceptional transport.
• Excellent knowledge of multimodal transport (air, ocean, ground, etc.) from the from the origin to the finale destination
• Thorough understanding of Moroccan customs regulations
• Sales Skills: Ability to develop strong business relationships and negotiate contracts.
• Problem Analysis and Resolution: Ability to analyze technical problems and propose effective solutions.
• Time and Priority Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• PC skills; Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). 
• University degree in transport and logistics, business administration or related area, equivalent education and experience is often accepted. 
• Fluent in French and English
