YOUR ROLE
For our newest client in Oud-Gastel, we are looking for a Customer Service Employee. In this role, you are the first point of contact and ensure the correct and timely handling of various questions and issues within the logistics process. You thrive on finding solutions and proactively and independently tackle situations.
You continuously coordinate with your own department, the warehouse, internal teams such as Customs, carriers, and of course, the customer. In this role, about 80% of your work will be focused on customer service tasks, and 20% on transport-related activities.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
At CEVA Logistics in Roosendaal, we manage several warehouses for different clients. For a new fashion e-commerce client, we’ll soon be launching operations from an existing warehouse. To support this, we are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Employee to act as the main point of contact for this client.
Although you will be working in the same office as the existing Customer Service team, this role is largely independent, and you will take full responsibility for your own client. During vacations or peak periods, the other team may step in to help, but you will be the primary coordinator.
You will have daily contact with the warehouse, internal departments such as Customs, transport carriers, and of course, the client. You’ll work alongside three Customer Service colleagues (for a different client), a Transport Planner, and two inventory control specialists. You’ll report to the Operations Support Manager.
Your responsibilities as Customer Service Employee include:
- Maintaining close contact with the client, both by phone, email, and in meetings, focused on maintaining a strong relationship;
- Resolving issues, questions, and/or escalations in consultation with stakeholders and colleagues;
- Ensuring accurate administration and preparing reports;
- Analyzing process issues and providing the client with efficient solutions;
- Analyzing KPIs and initiating and implementing improvement proposals.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
With your proactive attitude and communication skills, there’s no problem you can’t solve. You are customer-oriented, precise, and capable of working independently without losing the team spirit. In addition, you are stress-resistant and use your analytical skills to drive improvements.
You also bring the following knowledge and experience:
- MBO+ or HBO level of working and thinking;
- Preferably at least 1 year of work experience in a similar role in logistics services;
- Professional command of the English language, both spoken and written; Dutch is a plus;
- Solid experience with MS Office, particularly Excel;
- Ideally, you are available for 40 hours per week.

- A market-based salary between €2,718.40 and €3,550.00, depending on your experience and education;
