YOUR ROLE
In this position, you will provide leadership over the real estate strategy and function and you will also collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including Business Development, Operations, and Engineering as well as Legal, Finance, and Lease Administration and external partners including customers, landlords, developers, brokers and advisers to lead and complete new location development/searches and lease renewals.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Coordination with GHO on the execution of Global Real Estate strategies in Europe & Implement of energy savings measures
- In conjunction with country Real Estate Managers, co-ordination and management of all new real estate transactions, including renewals, blend and extends, acquisitions, relocations, dispositions, consolidations, build-to-suits, and bid searches
- Participate in each recruitment at the country level to provide technical feedback & Manage CEVA subleases – primarily facilities that become unused due to changes in CEVA operations
- Lead or be an advisor on the strategic negotiation & Manage all CEVA field real estate brokerage activities
- Lead and anticipate all renewals on lease agreement & Manage CEVA business rules as it relates to real estate acquisitions and project approval process
- Follow all real estate KPI (cost per sqm, cost of facility management per lot, sustainable goal) & have a benchmark on the real estate strategy of our competitors
- Prepare the budget for savings, rent, maintenance costs, and investments for the region & Have a dashboard to follow the real estate market per country (yields, cost/sqm land, and building….)
- Follow up the P&L each real estate company in the region & Challenge and prepare all necessary documents for ICAP
- Drive property-related sustainability projects in the region such as LED lighting and solar panels, Oversee reduction and control of facility repair expenses & Matrix management of the Country Real Estate Managers across Europe
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, Real Estate, or Engineering is required, MBA is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based, and job-specific software applications
- At least 5 years of commercial or industrial real estate management experience is required
- Knowledge of high-value negotiation and sourcing processes and methodologies
- Knowledge of local markets, and connection with Real Estate sector players (Portfolio Owners, Investors, Developers, Trade Associations Professional Bodies)
