YOUR ROLE

 

As part of the QHSE France Department at CEVA Logistics (CMA CGM Group), the global leader in supply chain management, you will be based in Courbevoie (92) within a QHSE team managing a network of approximately 25 HSE coordinators covering about 120 sites across France. You will have the opportunity to visit sites occasionally to discover the operational activities and carry out concrete missions based on the needs of the sites.

 

 

WHAT WILL YOUR MISSIONS BE?

 

Reporting to the Environment Manager, the work-study student will be assigned the following tasks:

 

  • Waste Management: Contributing to a waste management optimization project that has been ongoing since 2019:

    • Help the HSE network manage waste indicators, analyze them with the supervisor, and share them with the HSE network using a continuous improvement approach.

    • Provide on-site support for waste-related issues (identifying sites with sorting issues, preparing posters, helping with awareness campaigns, or setting up sorting zones on site).

    • Ensure the daily administrative management of waste (assist administrative staff with order amounts, prepare tables for the purchase of cardboard and other materials, verify receipt of payments, etc.).

  • Environmental Reporting for 120 Sites: Collecting data on low-carbon electricity consumption, gas, waste, LED lighting upgrades, solar panels, lithium battery forklifts, etc.

    • Assist the QHSE network in regulatory environmental monitoring and the implementation of environmental actions (ISO 14001, AES, SME, Mobility Plan, etc.).

    • Participate in GREEN projects (electric trucks, commitments and ADEME funding applications, water recycling, etc.) and CO2 reporting.

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

 

  • Education: Master’s degree (M1) with a specialization in Quality, Safety, and Environment (QSE), in a two-year work-study program (M1/M2).

  • Desired Experience: A first significant experience in QSE or a related field, ideally in an industrial or multi-site environment.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas).

    • Knowledge of QHSE tracking or management tools is a plus.

  • Languages: Good level of English (B2/C1 minimum), both written and spoken.

  • Personal and Professional Qualities:

    • Interest in numbers and data analysis.

    • Intellectual curiosity, autonomy, professionalism, and proactive attitude.

    • Tenacity, rigor, prioritization skills, and respect for deadlines.

    • Strong analytical and synthesis abilities.

    • Open-mindedness and teamwork.

    • Ability to collaborate across functions with various stakeholders (QHSE coordinators remotely, maintenance, purchasing, finance, CSR, etc.).

  • Contract Type: Work-Study (Alternance)

  • Contract Duration: 2 years

  • Start Date: September 2025, with the possibility of starting from the end of August 2025.
