Your role

 

  • To support Operations implementing HSE Management systems and initiatives through a range of engagement and training activities. 
  • Liaising with key stakeholders in identifying and supporting the close out of actions to drive improvements in safety and legal compliance across the Region and countries within Region with specific focus on Industrial Projects and Energy Solutions business areas.
  • He /She will ensure HSE aspects are considered in all Project phases and that deliverables are meet as per customer expectations.
  • Support the delivery of training that aligns with the global standards framework, improving capability and accountability across the Regions & Countries within Region. Ensures that Specific processes related to Project Logistics are in place and fully aligned with the Global Framework and Customers expectations. 
  • Act as an ambassador for a Culture of Trust, commitment and learning through the roll out of campaigns and initiatives to raise awareness; whilst ensuring compliance as a minimum standard.

 

What are you going to do ?

 

  • Provide Guidance to all Regions on expected level of compliance to Standards, Global Framework and Customer requirements.
  • Provides support on new business development by analyzing customer requirements , establishing the possibility of compliance to those while, whenever applicable, elaborating a plan with relevant stackholders to mitigate gaps.
  • Support serious accident investigation and ensure key learnings from significant incidents and any subsequent changes in standards are effectively communicated
  • Support a consistent approach in the creation and maintenance of risk profiles through hazard identification and risk control across all Regions and countries involved in specific projects.
  • Supports Suppliers Qualification processes concerning all HSE Aspects.
  • Ensures HSE KPI are driven through a consistent PDCA cycle 
  • Support and develops robust methods of recording HSE data, KPI reporting and performance reviews

 

Who are we looking for ?

 

  • Recognised Degree level qualification in Health & Safety
  • Membership with a Recognised HSE Professional Body
  • 5-10 years in similar roles in freight forwarding companies or O&G industry
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of ISO45001
  • In deep knowledge on Risk Management, RCA
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively
  • Experience of holding challenging conversations and achieving the desired output
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
