YOUR ROLE

For our campus in Roosendaal, we are looking for an Assistant Warehouse Supervisor to strengthen our team.In this versatile role, you will be responsible for coordinating a team of approximately 15 warehouse operators. You will lead the team on a daily basis and monitor the processes and productivity.

The application of the LEAN philosophy plays a key role in this. You ensure the efficient deployment of personnel and are responsible for maintaining order and cleanliness in the department and warehouse. Furthermore, you guide employees in their daily tasks and ensure compliance with regulations as outlined in the house rules (both operational and related to safety, quality, working conditions, and the environment). You keep an eye out for any irregularities or deviations and address them in a timely manner. Naturally, you also provide input to the Supervisor for planning, progress, and performance reviews. In the absence of the Supervisor, you will take over his/her responsibilities.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As an Assistant Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of approximately 15 people on a daily basis. You will work closely with the other Assistant Warehouse Supervisor and the Supervisor. Your base location will be Roosendaal, where we serve various clients on this campus, including fashion and industrial customers.

For this role, working hours will be scheduled between 06:00 and 18:00. Please note that a limited degree of seasonal peak periods may apply. During these times, you may occasionally work a longer shift or on a Saturday to ensure all orders are dispatched on time.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You are someone who naturally takes the lead. You have an eye for quality and quickly adapt to processes and procedures thanks to your logistics experience. You also take initiative and contribute to continuous improvements.

You also bring the following knowledge and experience:

• MBO working and thinking level (secondary vocational education);
• Proven work experience in a logistics environment;
• Decisiveness, organization, and empathy are key traits that describe you;
• Proficient in both spoken and written English;
• Knowledge of warehousing and automated information systems;
• You are available full-time and flexible in your working hours.

• A salary between € 2.545,50 en € 3.346,49 (depending on your work experience and education level), with the opportunity for growth within the pay scale;
• A one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent position;
• Employment conditions in accordance with our own CEVA collective labor agreement (Dutch: cao), including 25 vacation days, 5 ADV days, and an annual salary increase;
• Profit sharing of up to 3% with positive business results;
