YOUR ROLE
We are looking for an Controlroom Employee to join our team in
Roosendaal! As a Controlroom Employee, you will be responsible for filling in the hourly update, including both a recap of yesterday and a forecast for today. This is a varied role in which you will, among other things, create daily planning schedules, prepare documentation, and communicate with various departments. You will create pick batches and monitor their progress. Where necessary, you make adjustments and provide advice to the operation based on what you observe. You will have frequent internal contact with your colleagues in the warehouse to ensure that the right people are in the right place. Ultimately, you report to the Controlroom Supervisor on the daily status and progress.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
You will be part of the Control Room team at our location in Roosendaal. The customer you will be supporting is an e-commerce client with merchandise from a well-known entertainment brand. From our warehouse in Roosendaal, we ship orders all across Europe!
In this role, you will regularly be present on the warehouse floor. You’ll have frequent contact with order picking colleagues and Supervisors on-site. The Controlroom team consists of 3 team members in total. It’s a diverse team where English is the main language of communication. Our department—and the wider organization—is constantly evolving, so there are plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring the continuous system flow in the warehouse;
- Providing the operation with an hourly performance update;
- Allocating resources, workstations, and machinery based on the production plan;
- Performing administrative tasks;
- Proposing improvements to your Supervisor;
- Releasing orders and assigning them to trucks.
Our warehouse is open from 05:30 to 18:00, which means you’ll be working in shifts. In the peak months of October, November, and December, we operate in two shifts from 06:00 till 15:00 and from 15:00 till 00:00.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
In addition to enjoying working with numerical databases, you also have spatial awareness and strong logical thinking skills. You stay calm under pressure and don’t get easily thrown off by a busy environment or unexpected issues. When you spot irregularities, you take initiative to discuss them and work together with colleagues to find solutions. You also enjoy working in a diverse team with people from different backgrounds.
In addition, you have:
- A completed MBO level 4 education (equivalent to secondary vocational education);
- At least 2 years of work experience in a dynamic environment, such as logistics or production;
- A proactive, independent, and analytical mindset;
- Good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written. Communication with colleagues and the customer takes place in English;
- Strong skills in working with numerical databases (e.g., Excel, Access, WMS systems), as you'll be performing many analyses based on data dumps.

- A salary between €2,545.50 and €3,346.49, depending on your experience and educational background;
- A one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent position;

- A profit-sharing bonus of up to 3%, depending on company results;
