YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor for our campus in Roosendaal. In this role, you will be responsible for the inbound process of goods. You will lead a team of operational staff who ensure that the inbound flow is handled efficiently. You will ensure that goods are processed on time and meet the required quality standards. In doing so, you will monitor both the productivity and quality of your team. Additionally, you will have a keen eye for any deviations in the processes you know from A to Z and will initiate improvements in alignment with your manager.

WHAT WILL YOU DO? 
Our campus in Roosendaal consists of multiple locations. The site related to this vacancy is responsible for supplying all European stores of an internationally known fashion brand. Our warehouse spans approximately 28,000 m². Depending on the season, up to 200 people work here. Your team will consist of 40 to 70 operational employees per shift who handle the daily warehouse activities. You will be supported by two Assistant Warehouse Supervisors and will work closely with the Customer Service department and the client. You will report to the Operations Manager, with whom you will align on a regular basis.

You will be responsible for: 

• Organizing and leading your team (20 to 30 FTE) to ensure safety standards, quality, and productivity targets are met;
• Planning, coordinating, and monitoring warehouse activities with a focus on delivering the highest possible service quality to the customer;
• Identifying and addressing deviations in productivity or quality levels;
• Continuously improving your team/department and participating in projects aimed at enhancing the organization and our processes;
• Recording and reporting on the actual deployment of personnel, equipment, and tools, and advising your manager accordingly.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?  

We are looking for a proactive and driven colleague who works independently and has a strong sense of responsibility. You have strong social and communication skills, which enable you to effectively engage and motivate your team. You are flexible in your approach, understanding that different team members may require different management styles to achieve the desired results. In addition, you are stress-resistant and have a mindset focused on continuous improvement. You understand better than anyone what our customer needs and respond to this directly with your team.

You bring the following knowledge and experience: 

• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably within a logistics environment;
• A passion for working in a LEAN environment and a strong ambition to continuously improve processes;
• Experience with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) is a plus;
• Knowledge of procedures and processes within a warehouse setting;
• Good commend of the English language, both written and spoken.

Additionally we offer: 

• A salary between € 2.759,80 and € 3.793,50, depending on your experience and educational background;
• A one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent position;
• Employment conditions in line with our own CEVA collective labor agreement, including 25 vacation days and 5 additional days off (ADV) based on a full-time contract;
• A profit-sharing bonus of up to 3%, depending on company results;
• A good pension scheme, travel allowance, and 8% holiday pay;
