Warehouse Supervisor

YOUR ROLE
We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor for our campus in Roosendaal. In this role, you will be responsible for the outbound process of the products. Together with your team and two fellow supervisors, you will continuously seek to optimize work processes, focusing on the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity. You will also keep a close eye on any anomalies or deviations within the processes you know from A to Z, and you will take the initiative to implement improvements, coordinating them with the Operations Manager.

In addition, you will be responsible for:

• organizing and managing your team to meet established safety, quality, and productivity standards;
• planning, coordinating, and monitoring warehouse activities to ensure the highest possible quality of service to the customer;
• identifying deviations in productivity or quality levels;
• continuously improving your team/department and participating in projects aimed at enhancing the organization and our processes;
• reporting on actual deployment of personnel, equipment, and resources, and advising the Operations Manager accordingly.

WHERE WILL YOU BE WORKING?
Our campus in Roosendaal consists of multiple locations. The site for this vacancy is responsible for supplying all European stores of a well-known international fashion brand. Our warehouse covers approximately 28,000 m² and depending on the season, up to 200 people work here. Your team consists of 40 to 70 operational employees per shift who carry out the daily activities in the warehouse. You will be supported by two Assistant Warehouse Supervisors and will have frequent contact with the Customer Service department and the client. You will report to the Operations Manager, with whom you’ll coordinate regularly.

The warehouse operates between 06:00 and 00:00, so this is a shift-based role. Working hours are from 06:00 to 15:00 and from 15:00 to 00:00, alternating weekly with your fellow Warehouse Supervisor on the Outbound team.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a proactive and driven colleague who works independently and has a strong sense of responsibility. You are socially skilled and a strong communicator, enabling you to engage and lead your team effectively. You adapt your approach to meet the diverse needs of your team members in order to achieve the desired results. In addition, you are stress-resistant and have a mindset focused on continuous improvement. You have a strong understanding of what our customer needs and know how to respond to this with your team.

You bring the following knowledge and experience:

• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably within a logistics environment;
• A passion for working in a LEAN environment and a drive to continuously improve processes;
• Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) is a plus;
• Understanding of warehouse procedures and processes;
• Good command of both Dutch and English.
