We are seeking a dedicated IT Global PMO Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team. 

 

YOUR ROLE 

 

The IT PMO Procurement Specialist conducts sourcing activities to evaluate supplier pricing and offerings. Reviews contracts, terms, and service level agreements.  

Additionally, IT PMO Procurement Specialist inputs and tracks procurement data.   

   

This position is open in Brazil (Sao Paulo), Argentina (Buenos Aires), Philippines and Thailand

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? 

 

Vendor Management:  

  • Managing direct procurement processes, including the purchasing or obtaining of raw materials, resources, goods, and services for manufactured goods.  

  • Evaluating and strategic sourcing of potential suppliers.  

  • Maintaining advantageous relationships with suppliers and managing disputes.  

  • Monitoring supplier performance for optimal business operations performance.  

  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and laws. 

 

Resource Management:  

  • Devising initiatives to drive procurement performance for outsourced activities.  

  • Collaborating with internal departments to ensure resourcing procurement needs are met. 

 

PO & Budget Management:  

  • Managing procurement budgets, strategies, and payment processes.  

  • Managing the procure-to-pay process, including requisitioning, purchasing, receiving, invoicing, and paying for goods and services. 

 

Finance & Reporting:  

  • Forecasting to predict future demand for goods, services, and purchase requisitions.  
  • Tracking key metrics and KPIs to reduce costs.  
  • Analyzing procurement data, conducting spend analysis, and preparing reports.  

 

Training:  

  • To be able to create/update/revise guides and manual for processes and procedures to be followed.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

 

  • University Degree in IT or Business, or any other equivalent field  
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in the similar field 
  • Strong Communication skills - oral and written abilities are needed to build and sustain supplier relationships.   
  • Project management skills, ability to plan ahead, delegate, and evaluate progress.  
  • Negotiation skills - a core function of procurement involves pushing for favorable terms.  
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.  
  • Critical analysis - the ability to understand company standards and apply them.  
  • Problem-solving - a knack for analyzing challenges and exploring all possible solutions. 
  • Good knowledge of Vendor outreach, Inventory management, Contract negotiation. 
  • Strong influencing skills to gain commitment from others and foster collaboration.   
  • Must be an excellent team player.   
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) would be a plus. 
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
