YOUR Role
As the Compound Coordinator at Minto, NSW, you play an important supporting role to the Compound Supervisor assisting with the day-to-day operations and administration of the compound.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Specifically, you will:
- Support operational processes and systems to ensure full compliance with customer contracts and service standards
- Lead or participate in toolbox talks and operational meetings, following up on issues and driving KPI improvements
- Collect and analyse performance data to support the Compound Supervisor and Operations Manager in improving key metrics such as cost per vehicle, cars per hour, and damage reduction
- Manage transit damage claims and non-conformance reporting, driving root cause analysis and resolution
- Coordinate weekly stocktake programs to maintain accurate inventory records
- Assist with training delivery and staff evaluations.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our ideal candidate has experience in customer service in transport operations in any industry OR is ready to step-up to this level.
You should also have:
- Previous experience in the Transport and Logistics industry, with a solid understanding of operational workflows and service delivery
- A proactive, safety-first mindset with a commitment to OHS&E compliance, team development, and customer satisfaction
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse teams across all levels of the organisation.
- Strong geographical knowledge of metropolitan, regional, and rural areas across Australia, including major road networks and transport routes.
- Basic-intermediate experience in MS Office applications, and capable of learning new systems, software and technology.
In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progresssed candidates will be required to complete a medical asessment and national police check.
