YOUR ROLE  

 

  • Mon-Fri, 8am – 4pm shift
  • Base rate of $33.72 / hour + 13.75% super
  • Role offered under the CEVA Logistics & Transport Workers Union National EA, the details of which can be found at fwc.gov.au.

 

We're looking for a driven and focused Yardperson to provide administrative support within operations, at our Finished Vehicle Logistics branch at Minto NSW.
 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

Specifically, you will:

 

  • Provide administrative support, including accurate data entry of transport loads

  • Monitor vehicle activity, including identifying vehicles not on site

  • Communicate effectively with drivers and yard staff to ensure efficient coordination

  • Support stocktake activities and assist with reconciliation tasks

  • Manage vehicle data in the Vehicle Logistics Management System (VLMS)

  • Assist with compound rostering and general scheduling support.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
 

Our ideal candidate is someone looking to gain broader experience within transport operations, whilst providing valuable administrative support in a fast paced setting. You should also have:

 

  • Strong organisational and communication skills

  • Confidence working with systems and databases

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

  • Attention to detail and a proactive mindset.

 

In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to complete a medical assessment and national police check.
