YOUR ROLE
In the role of Teamlead Logistics, you will lead a sub-process within the operation, specifically in the Putaway & Picking department. Together with your team, you determine the success of the logistics operations for our client Bijenkorf. In this role, you will successfully lead the Putaway & Picking subprocess. You will be responsible for leading a team of approximately 15 employees. Within this team, one or more Team Coordinators support you with their process-specific expertise. You inspire and motivate your team to set and achieve goals, while actively contributing to their personal and professional development.
As Teamlead Putaway & Picking, you report directly to the Operations Manager. You will work in two shifts, morning and evening, based at our location in Tilburg.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Leading, coaching, and developing team members, including conducting performance and appraisal reviews;
- Managing daily operations and ensuring the achievement of set KPIs and planning targets;
- Making the right decisions for an optimal end-to-end process in collaboration with colleagues and the Control Room;
- Continuously improving the efficiency of people, resources, and equipment;
- Identifying bottlenecks and proposing improvements to the logistics process;
- Conducting measurements, creating reports, and performing analyses;
- Supporting absence management and contributing to a healthy working environment;
- Ensuring a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment.

Do you recognize yourself in the following qualities and characteristics?
- Bachelor-level thinking and working skills, with at least a completed MBO-4 education;
- A minimum of 3 years of work experience in a dynamic environment;
- A natural people manager with proven leadership experience in a similar (logistics) setting;
- Ambitious, hands-on, and able to perform well under pressure and in fast-paced situations;
- Solution-oriented, proactive, and a strong sense of ownership;
- Full-time availability and flexibility to work in a 2-shift schedule;
- Strong command of the English language, spoken and written.
