YOUR ROLE
As a Teamlead Logistics, you are at the heart of our logistics operation, the heartbeat that keeps everything running smoothly. Together with your team, you determine our success. In this role, you will take ownership of a specific sub-process within inbound, outbound, picking/putaway, packing, or Value Added Services. You will be responsible for leading a team of approximately 10 to 60 employees. Within this team, one or more Team Coordinators support you with their process-specific expertise. You inspire and motivate your team to achieve daily targets while actively contributing to the personal and professional growth of your team members. You keep a close eye on both the operational flow and the people within it, with attention to the individual as well as the development of the team as a whole.
You’re able to do this effectively thanks to your daily contact with colleagues in the Control Room, the control tower of our warehouse. They advise you on volumes, ratios, and planning, so you can make informed decisions. You will work in two shifts and report to the Operations Manager. Your main location will be in Tilburg.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Managing, coaching, developing and evaluating the employees in your team;
- Leading the daily operations and responsible for achieving KPIs and plans;
- In cooperation with your colleagues making the right decisions for an optimal overall process;
- Optimizing the efficiency of people and resources;
- Making improvement proposals regarding the logistics process;
- Carrying out measurements, making reports and analyses;
- Conducting performance and assessment interviews, absence counseling;
- Ensuring a clean and safe working environment (LEAN/5S).
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- You are a people manager by nature and have previously managed a team in a similar work environment;
- HBO work and thinking level;
- You are ambitious, hard working and stress resistant;
- You have at least 3 years of work experience in a dynamic work environment;
- You are an inspiring leader with an ambitious, driven mindset;
- Fulltime available and flexible in a 2-shift system;
- Good command of the English language verbally and in writing.

- You will receive a monthly salary between € 2.878,19 and €4.187,42 and 8% vacation allowance (grading depending on your work experience and education level);
- You will start with a one-year contract and then get the prospect of permanent employment;
- Everyone gets 25 vacation days, with the possibility of earning four additional days if you are not sick;
