QHSE Generalist Senior Specialist

YOUR ROLE
Develops the quality, health, safety, security and environmental policies within all products, departments and subsidiaries, while considering local specificities.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Compliance and Policies: Ensure country compliance with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations, and perform duties in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental, and ethics policies or crisis management/ Business continuity plan.
- Injury Reduction: Work through location leadership to reduce occupational injuries and workers compensation costs through proactive management and training.
- Training and Communication: Perform training to locations and maintain good communication between locations and functional departments within country.
- Emergency Response: Participate in the Emergency Response Team when concerned and be available to travel
- Be the contact point for flag administrations and support the Fleet department with classification societies (RO).
- Participate in monitoring regulations.
- Individual contributors coordinator for HSE topics with various contacts
- Maintain the group certification and give support for new certification
- Provide QHSE Supports to all locations in country and carry out internal audits & safety inspection
- Provide support to Business Development and Customer Solution teams supporting new business.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Safety, Safety & Health, Transportation Safety or a related science.
Preferred:
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional)
- ARM (Associate of Risk Management)
- CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager)
- ISO Auditor Certifications (9001, 13485, 45001, 1400)
Skills & Experience
- +5 years of experience managing QHSE across multiple locations.
- Training: In ISM and ISO Internal auditor, CSO, and accident investigation. QHSE management knowledge
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment, with a strong team spirit. Effective communication & leadership: Verbal, written, and presentation skills.
