YOUR ROLE

The focus of the Equipment Control Room Specialist is on optimizing technical productivity and ensuring delivery reliability. In this key role within the logistics operation, you are part of the Control Room – the beating heart of our logistics process, where central coordination takes place.

The main objective of the department is to maximize efficiency and maintain a high level of delivery performance. Your stakeholders include colleagues in both the Control Room and Logistics Operations.

You will work in two shifts: a morning shift and an evening shift. You report directly to the Control Room Team Lead.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• You drive technical operational processes based on accurate data;
• You are responsible for incident management and handling machine failures;
• You monitor performance across various KPI’s and make adjustments where needed;
• You oversee building-related management systems;
• You provide first-line support to both the operations team and the technical team in the warehouse;
• You advise operations on optimizing warehouse process flows;
• You act as the link between operations and machinery maintenance;
• You maintain an overview of system flows and respond appropriately when adjustments are needed to flows, parameters, or stations;

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• A completed degree (mbo-4 level) preferably in engineering, IT or logistics;
• Relevant work experience in a logistics, production or service environment;
• Analytical skills and you have a systematic and structured way of working;
• Good social and contact skills;
• Excellent knowledge of the English language;
• You are available full time and (in time) willing to work in shifts.

Additionally, we offer: 

• You will receive a monthly salary between € 2.878,- and € 4.187,- and 8% holiday allowance (grading depending on your work experience and education level);
• You will start with a one-year contract and then get the prospect of permanent employment;
• Excellent secondary employment conditions, including a travel allowance;
• Everyone gets 25 vacation days, with the possibility of earning four additional days if you are not sick;
• Opportunities to further develop yourself trough courses and training, through the CEVA Academy. The possibilities also include studying alongside your work.
